Victorian Bowls Open set to feature on My Sport Live

November 3, 2016

My Sport Live, together with Bowls Victoria, is pleased to announce that the final two days of the 2016 Victorian Open will be streamed LIVE from November 10-11.
Brought to you from the Shepparton Park Bowls Club, the Victorian Open will have a record 1500 competitors take to the green in singles, pairs and triples competitions for men and women, and mixed pairs.
Local and international club bowlers will feature at the event, with the best of the best to be showcased live on the last two days of competition.
Bowls Victoria’s Communications and Marketing Manager Guy Hand said televising the organisation’s premier event for the year was vital to promoting the sport to both followers of the sport and interested observers who may not have been exposed to the sport before.
“The Victorian Open is the number one event on the Victorian bowls calendar and one of Australia’s most popular tournaments,” Hand said.
“We see live streaming as a critical component to promote the event and our sport, and showcase it to those who can’t be in Shepparton to watch it live.
“With record entries from all over Australia, plus international entries from New Zealand, Malaysia and the UK, the finals are guaranteed to produce great bowls.
“Those who love our sport love watching it. We’re excited to offer people all around the world the chance to tune in and watch – wherever they are, whatever they’re doing.”
The broadcast of the 2016 Victorian Open will kick off on Thursday November 10 at 12pm. To view the stream LIVE across the two days of competition, head to
